Brief Introduction: Since the startup of Meida, "Building on advanced technology" has been set up as foundation of developing　strategy.’ In 1999, the "Enterprise Technical Center" of Meida was established. " In 2000, the Science and Technology Commission of Guangdong Province, the Planning Commission of Guangdong Province and the Economic and Trade Commission of Guangdong Province jointly certified Meida as one of the first key "Nylon Engineering Technical R&D Center" of Guangdong Province. " In 2002,the Economical and Trade Commission of Guangdong Province, the Commission of Finance of Guangdong Province, the State Tax Bureau of Guangdong Province, the Local Tax Bureau of Guangdong Province and the Customs Administration of Guangdong Province jointly issued a document to certify the "Enterprise Technical Center" of Meida as a key technical center of Guangdong Province." In 2003, Meida was approved by the Ministry of Personnel of China and the National Post-doctoral Administration Committee of China to set up the "Post-doctoral Scientific Research Center". At present, Meida has a pool of more than 600 graduates with various kinds of professional qualifications. This R&D team has strong development ability. By far, Meida had cumulatively accomplished over 20 scientific research projects as
prescribed by the State, province and city, and 30 new products independently developed by Meida had been certified and/or rewarded at the national level, 8 projects had applied patent right. During the last three years, cold resistance and high impact composite material and Nylon 6 Full-dull FDY filament had been granted National key new products by Ministry of Science and Technology
